Minji Woo, a partner at Lee & Ko, practices primarily in the area of Lease & Transportation Finance (Aviation and Ship Financing). Since joining Lee & Ko in February 2011, she has structured various financing deals and issued securities for airline and shipping companies and in the process, worked with numerous domestic and overseas financial institutions. She also has expertise in handling issues such as financial regulations (e.g. foreign exchange regulations), insurance and securitization. Lee & Ko is the only firm with an organized aircraft finance team and has a dominant market share in the ship financing advisory. Ms. Woo acquired expertise on related laws and gained skills in the structuring of aircraft/ship finance.
Ms. Woo holds a bachelor degree in English Language and Literature and in law from Korea University. After passing the Korean bar exam, she successfully completed the two-year legal training program at the Judicial Research & Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea.
