Yeonwoo Lee is a partner in the Litigation and Arbitration Group and a member of the International Litigation Team. She has been advising various domestic and foreign clients in civil, criminal and administrative cases. In particular, her practice focuses on representing multinational companies in high-profile litigations in connection with their business dealings with Korean counterparties as well as advising Korean companies on cross-border disputes.
Ms. Lee also has prior experience of working for many years as a professional conference interpreter (which requires exceptional language and communication skills) with strong expertise in the fields of finance and information technology. More recently, prior to joining Lee & Ko, she served as a law clerk for the Seoul Northern District Court and the Cross-border Transactions Judicial Panel of the Seoul High Court, where she gained extensive first-hand experience regarding the relevant court proceedings and cross-border transactions disputes.
