Before joining Lee & Ko, Yun Sung Kim worked as an environmental specialist for more than 10 years. She began her career at a top raking environmental consulting firm founded by graduates of MIT, her own alma mater, and deepened her experience by working as a research fellow at the Korea Environment Institute, a leading environmental policy think tank in Korea. Throughout her career, she has focused on resolving the engineering challenges of pollution control as well as developing policies to enhance environmental quality. Now as an environmental lawyer in the firm's Environment, Health and Safety Group, Dr. Kim's experience bridges engineering, policy and law creating solutions in matters related to environmental impact assessment, contaminated land, renewable energy and waste management.
