He also advises on litigation and transactional matters relating to environmental, health and safety laws. His practice also includes handling administrative law matters involving Korean government agencies. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Mr. Kim practiced various types of litigation cases, including civil, criminal and administrative law matters.

- Successfully defended an aggregate manufacturer against an arrest warrant for violating the Occupational Safety and Health Act (Warrant dismissed)
- Advised numerous clients on lifting work suspension orders for facilities that had serious accidents
- Conducted litigation to cancel business suspension orders due to serious industrial accident
- Provided guidance on compliance with the Serious Accidents Punishment Act
- Advised on Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act and civil liability compensation relating to serious accidents

- Advised on cases involving various environment regulations such as Water Environment Conservation Act, Clean Air Conservation Act, Wastes Control Act, Chemical Substances Control Act, etc.

- Conducted an ESG compliance consulting project for K chemical company
- Advised on the establishment of an EU supply chain due diligence system
- Advised on ESG assessment and risks including ETS, etc.
