Our team advises on every type of real estate asset, including office buildings, large-scale retail assets, logistics facilities, hotels and resorts, and data centers. Beyond advising on sale and purchase transactions, development projects, project and real estate financings, leases and other contracts required for investment and operations, we provide one-stop service across the entire investment cycle, including the establishment and operation of real estate funds (REFs), real estate investment trusts (REITs) and project financing vehicles (PFVs).

[ Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions and Dispositions ]
Lee & Ko's Real Estate Group provides top-tier advice on acquisitions and dispositions of a wide range of commercial real estate, including offices, logistics facilities, retail assets, hotels and resorts and data centers. By conducting thorough, multi-layered legal due diligence, we identify and address potential risks at an early stage, and we lead the drafting and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements to secure the most favorable outcomes for clients. We also advise on the establishment and operation of real estate investment vehicles tailored to the needs of domestic and international investors, including REFs under the Capital Markets Act, REITs under the Real Estate Investment Company Act (including listed REITs), and PFVs. In addition, we provide fully integrated advice for successful closings, including sale and leaseback transactions, real estate mortgage financing, and tax-efficient structuring to maximize transaction returns. For inbound acquisitions by foreign investors, we also offer end-to-end strategic solutions, from filings under the Foreign Investment Promotion Act and the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act to the structuring of complex offshore financing arrangements.

Real estate development projects are highly complex undertakings involving numerous stakeholders and a wide range of permit and regulatory requirements, making close legal review from the earliest stage critical to success.
