Jiyoung Lim is an associate in the Seoul office of Lee & Ko and a member of the firm's Antitrust & Competition Department.
Ms. Lim’s practice focuses on the Korea Fair Trade Commission (the “KFTC”) investigation, civil, criminal and administrative antitrust litigation and related disputes. In addition, Ms. Lim has experience providing clients with general consultations regarding antitrust/competition law, including mergers, corporate governance, and general corporate consultations.
Ms. Lim advises clients on complex cases involving all areas of antitrust/competition law, including abuse of market dominance, unfair trade practice, cartel, and M&A. In addition, Ms. Lim has experience in sector-specific economic laws including but not limited to, Franchise law, Agency law, Retail Business law, Subcontract law, and Advertising law. Ms. Lim provides her clients with expertise in subject matters spanning abuse of market dominance to unfair trade practices and cartel (collusion) cases in the fields of online platforms, information technology (IT), patents, and pharmaceutical technology.

An intervenor, a multinational chipset manufacturer, in a litigation for revocation of the KFTC’s correction orders on Qualcomm’s abuse of market dominance.
Intervenors, global shipbuilders, in a litigation for revocation of the KFTC’s correction orders on the abuse of market dominance of a French Engineering company.
Naver corp. in an alleged abuse of market dominance case.
A global car manufacturer in consulting antitrust issues with connectivity service.
A global pharmaceutical company in an alleged cartel case in the generic market.
A Chinese state-owned company in an alleged cartel case in the global container liner market.
A major maritime & inland transportation company in a cartel case.
A major cable manufacturer in a KFTC investigation involving alleged acts of illegitimate support.
A major convenience store franchisor in a KFTC investigation into an alleged violation of the Franchise Act.
A global construction machine manufacturer in a KFTC investigation involving the Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act (“MRFTA”), and the Agency Act.
A major ATM/CD manufacturer in a complex civil cartel litigation.
