Hayan Bang is a member of Lee & Ko's Corporate Practice Group. Ms. Bang's practice focuses mainly on mergers and acquisitions and corporate matters.
Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Ms. Bang practiced at Kim & Chang, Tennant Company and Thompson Reuters. She worked on regulatory compliance and general corporate matters for manufacturing company at Tennant Company, and participated in negotiating OTC Master Agreement and ancillary documents for derivatives transactions at Thompson Reuters.

- Advised E-Mart, Inc., in its acquisition of controlling stake in Starbucks Coffee Korea.
- Advised MiSK Foundation (founded by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia) in its KRW 207 billion (USD 179 million) acquisition of controlling interest in SNK Corporation, a KOSDAQ-listed Japanese gaming and software company.
- Advised Kakao Entertainment in its USD 510 million and USD 440 million acquisitions of Tapas Media and Radish Media, respectively.
- Advised Lotte Chilsung Beverage in its acquisition of an additional 30.67 percent shareholding in Pepsi Cola Products Philippines, Inc. by tender offer process and subsequent delisting of the target.
- Advised multinational companies including Elkem ASA, Aramco Overseas Company B.V., LG Electronics, JD Sports Fashion PLC, and LG Hausys on inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions.
- Represented LG Electronics on the sale of LG-Hitachi Water Solutions and HiEntech by LG Electronics
- Represented Elkem ASA in its 100% share acquisition of Basel Chemie
