Mr. Shyn has developed a comprehensive legal practice focused on advising multinational companies, mostly in the automotive, energy, entertainment, healthcare and technology, media & telecommunications (TMT) industries on all facets (and across practice groups) of transacting and operating a business in Korea. He works closely with his clients to guide them through various issues and concerns relating to entering, operating in and exiting the Korean market. In particular, Mr. Shyn is skilfully adept at handling complex and innovative regulatory matters and issues from fair trade and competition law perspectives as well as in successfully representing multinational companies in high-profile investigations conducted by the Korea Fair Trade Commission on cartels, abuse of dominance and unfair trade practices as well as by other governmental agencies.
