Kiri Yi is a partner in our Arbitration & Litigation Group. Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2022, Mr. Yi served for nineteen years as Judge/Presiding Judge in the Korean judiciary. He has extensive experience in litigation practice, having presided over numerous cases in various areas and courts during his term on the bench, including intellectual property cases at Seoul Central District Court and Seoul High Court, detention, arrest and search/seizure warrant cases at several district courts. During his term, he has been appointed as Director of Judicial Research at the Supreme Court Library, and was in charge of selecting and publishing significant Supreme Court cases.

With such experience in litigation practice, educational background in engineering and competency in English communication, Mr. Yi is specialized in areas of Criminal Defense, International Litigation, Product Liability, Administrative Litigation, M&AㆍManagement Rights Disputes, among other dispute matters.
