Major Cases
  • Advised a Thai Baht basket-linked total return swap (TRS) dispute during the 1998 IMF Crisis, which became the first lawsuit regarding a cross-border derivative transaction.
  • Secured a not-guilty verdict in a white-collar criminal prosecution in connection with transactions took place around the 1998 IMF Crisis
  • Secured the first winning order and judgment in KIKO disputes at the pre-trial stage and the trial stage, respectively.
  • Acted as defense counsel in obtaining not-guilty verdict for clients defending against ELW related scalping charges
  • Advised financial institutions and corporations on disputes in Lehman bankruptcy situation relating to open positions with Lehman affiliates
